Grow your career with Verdant Parks

At Verdant Parks, we know that creating a great holiday experience doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. That’s why we’re looking for a reliable and proactive Night Warden to help keep our park safe, secure, and running smoothly throughout the night. As we continue to invest in park improvements and prepare for another busy season, you’ll play an important role in supporting both our guests and wider team by providing a reassuring presence and maintaining high standards across the park after hours.

If you’re someone who stays calm under pressure, takes pride in being dependable, and can remain enthusiastic and professional during busy periods, this could be the perfect opportunity to join a refreshed, modern, and fast-paced environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.

Our Night Wardens are responsible for patrolling the park grounds at regular times, checking buildings are secure, assisting visitors on the site with any queries, dealing with emergencies or call-outs and ensuring our visitors and staff abide by the park rules. This role is key to ensuring that we can provide a safe and secure environment for our holiday home owners and holiday guests.

Typical duties and responsibilities include:

·         Checking in any late-arriving customers in a welcoming and professional manner

·         Conducting regular patrols of the park, logging any issues

·         Assisting customers with any light maintenance problem or issues with accommodation

·         Dealing with any customer complaints or queries after the Reception is closed

We are looking for someone with experience working in a similar role and/or environment, and strong customer service skills. You will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and able to work unsupervised. A full driving licence is essential. In order to succeed in this role you will need to be comfortable working until late on in an evening and have a good understanding of health and safety in a holiday park environment.

Above all, you will need to have the right attitude. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and so we expect you to do everything in your power to make their Verdant experience the absolute best it could possibly be. We don’t believe in ‘that’s not my job’ so you will need to be adaptable and flexible to help the wider park team meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Skills and experience required:

·         A current driving licence is essential.

·         Good communication skills and strong customer service skills

·         Experience of dealing with light maintenance issues

·         Good understanding of health and safety in a holiday park environment.
