Perfect for families, couples or groups, our well-equipped Camping Pods offer a cosy and stylish alternative to traditional camping. 

Each pod includes:

  • Sleeps up to 4 adults
  • Electricity and heating as standard
  • Outdoor decking area with ambient LED spotlights
  • Pet-friendly options available
  • Bed, kettle and TV for added comfort

Please note: Guests are kindly asked to bring their own bedding, including duvets or sleeping bags.

Our cosy Camping Pods in Northumberland offer a comfortable and hassle-free alternative to traditional camping. Located in a tranquil corner of the park, these wooden pods are the perfect place to settle down after a day of adventure. 

Each pod features:

  • Sleeps up to 2 adults and 1 small child
  • Electricity socket
  • Lamp
  • All the charm of champing, without the need to pitch a tent! 

Please note: These pods are designed as a wooden tent, so please bring all your usual camping gear, including bedding and cooking equipment.

If you're considering a cosy getaway in one of our Camping Pods, we have two different styles to choose from: The Superior Camping Pod and our Standard Camping Pod. Both offer a fantastic alternative to traditional camping but with varying levels of comfort and features. 

Superior Camping Pod

Designed for a more comfortable, plug-and-play experience, the Superior Camping Pod takes the hassle out of your holiday. 

  • Sleeps up to 4 people, so they're perfect for families or couples
  • Equipped with TV, kettle, heater and electric sockets for a cosy and connected stay
  • Features a private outdoor decking area with built-in LED spotlights, ideal for relaxing in the evening
  • Beds and mattresses are provided, just bring your own bedding and settle in 
  • Offers an easy, convenient alternative to traditional camping with all the comforts ready and waiting 

Standard Camping Pod

Our Camping Pods offer a simple but fuss-free way to enjoy the outdoors and embrace the spirit of camping. 

  • Sleeps 2 adults and 1 small child - a great choice for couples or young families 
  • Includes electricity, so you can charge devices or use small camping appliances
  • You'll need to bring your own bedding and essentials, keeping things refreshingly simple
  • A back-to-basics pod that still offers shelter and structure, ideal for short breaks and spontaneous getaways
  • Perfect for those who enjoy the feel of camping but want a solid roof over their heads

Inside the park, you’ll find a range of family-friendly entertainment and activities, with options running both during the day and into the evening. For those who prefer to get out and explore, our parks are located close to beautiful walking routes, beaches, nature reserves and charming local towns. All of which are ideal for day trips, scenic strolls and spontaneous adventures.

Frequently Asked Questions about Camping Pod holidays

  • Yes, our Camping Pods are essentially designed to give you a secure and dry roof over your head. It's camping without the fuss of having to pitch a tent. This means you should bring everything with you that you would normally do on a camping trip, but you can leave the tent at home! 

  • Our Superior Pods at Scoutscroft do come with a heater, but our Standard Camping Pods at Riverside do not. Both come with at least one electrical socket, so you are able to charge devices and power small equipment. 

  • Yes, all our pods are 100% sheltered from the elements. No matter how hard it rains, you and your things will stay dry. 

  • Yes, we allow up to three pets at any of our parks, at any booking. However, Camping Pods at Riverside can only safely fit two adults and one small child, so please bear that in mind when booking with pets. 

  • No, both Superior and Standard Camping Pods are without those facilities. All parks have communal bathroom and shower facilities that all guests are able to use. 

  • All toilet and shower facilities are within a short walk of all Camping Pods. 

  • There are no communal kitchen areas available at our parks, however we do have restaurants where guests can eat and some parks have a NISA shop on-site where you can pick up essentials. 

    Guests are allowed to BBQ on the decking outside their Camping Pods, as long as the BBQ is off the ground. 

  • Our Superior Pods at Scoutscroft have access to the free WI-FI available across the park. For Standard Camping Pod guests at Riverside, WI-FI can be provided with a small rental charge starting at £5. 

  • All our parks provide on-site parking. Some parks allow for drive-up parking, others have a dedicated car park for guests. 

  • Yes, all Camping Pods come with a key so you can safely store any personal items and equipment inside. 

  • Our Superior Camping Pods can sleep up to 4 adults. Standard Camping Pods can sleep 2 adults and 1 small child. 

  • Yes, Verdant Leisure parks are all family-friendly, offering amazing activities and entertainment to keep adults, teens and little ones busy throughout your stay. 

  • No, unfortunately Camping Pods are not currently able to provide wheelchair access. 

    We have alternative wheelchair accessible accommodation available across our parks. 

  • Check-in is between 3-4pm for most accommodation (higher grades can check in earlier). Check-out is at 10am for most accommodation, 12pm for Camping Pods as they are classed as touring. 

    Guests are welcome to arrive earlier and use the park's facilities, but they will not be able to access accommodation until the check-in time. 

  • We ask guests across all parks to stay quiet around accommodation sites after 10pm, allowing everyone to get a good night's sleep before another day of adventure begins. 

  • No, campfires and fire pits are not allowed on site. BBQs that stand off the ground are allowed. BBQs may be available for hire, depending on which park you're staying at. 

  • Bringing your own BBQ is allowed, however they must be standing above the ground to prevent any potential damage to flooring. 

  • All Camping Pods have lighting provided, whether it be through wall lights or lamps. 

  • Yes, all Camping Pods have an electrical socket to charge mobile phones and devices. 

  • Some parks have a NISA convenience store on-site. You may be able to purchase some essentials at reception. All parks have an on-site bar and restaurant and are all located close to a nearby village or town where you'll be able to explore the local cafes and restaurants.
