Events such as The Naughty Northumbrian, Get Naughty at Kielder, The Ayrshire Alps Challenge, The Tayside Challenge, and even the 2027 Tour de France, all make fantastic trips for keen cyclists, and our park locations offer both convenience and comfort for your stay. Whether you fancy getting close to the action or watching from afar, you'll find the perfect spot to settle in and enjoy a wonderful holiday full of all things cycling.

Tour de France 2027 - Stay near the route

One of the world's most well-known cycling events, The Tour de France, will be touring the UK in 2027, with the confirmed route departing from Edinburgh and finishing in Cardiff. 

We have several parks located close to the first stage of the route, which kicks off in Edinburgh Friday 2nd July 2027, making them a perfect base for you to watch the race without the hustle and bustle of city centre accommodation. Thurston Manor is located an hour away from Edinburgh, as is Pease Bay, and Queensberry Bay is a wonderful spot to enjoy the Carlisle portion of the tour. 

Be sure to book your stay with plenty of time to spare to avoid disappointment!

There are plenty of places to park and lock your bike up during your stay, but if you don't fancy bringing yours along, there are various bike hire spots located close to our parks.
