Dog Friendly Holidays

Once you've picked the ideal destination for you and your canine companion, make sure to research more about the area. Take note of the best walking routes, where to find wide open spaces for them to stretch their legs, and especially which pubs, restaurants and attractions are dog friendly, so no one has to be left behind during the holiday. 

All of our on-site bars and restaurants are dog friendly, so you won't have to worry about your pooch missing out while you relax with a drink or tasty meal. 

It's also a good idea to be aware of the closest vet, just in case. 

We've all arrived on holiday and come to the dreaded realisation that we've forgotten something, so making a list is a must to ensure you don't leave anything behind, especially where your dog is concerned! 

Remember the lead, blanket, bed, mess bags, food bowls and usual dog food. Keeping their food the same and feeding them at the same time as at home is important to maintain a sense of routine. Bringing along a few of their favourite toys is also a great way to keep them happy and relaxed on the trip. 

Having an itinerary, even a loose one, for your trip means that you can spend less time planning and more time relaxing and enjoying your holiday. Take into account how much exercise your dog will need and don't forget to schedule in plenty of playtime! 

Travelling with pets doesn't have to be a stressful affair, so long as you have the right prep ahead of time. Make sure you keep them on a harness and in the back of the car during the journey for their own safety and to prevent distractions, and talking to them throughout is a great way to keep them calm. Plan frequent stops for toilet breaks, and pack plenty of water for them. Ice cubes make a great doggy treat, especially in hot weather. 

Before you head off for your holiday, make sure your pup's microchip details are correct and up to date in case they go missing while you're away. 

Dogs are welcome on our parks at any time during the park's open season.

All of our parks are dog friendly and welcoming to four-legged friends, however there may be some restricted areas to ensure the comfort of all guests. When booking with your canine companion online, be sure to add the number of dogs you're bringing and you will only be shown dog friendly accomodation options. 

Our on-site bars and restaurants are also either fully dog friendly or have a dedicated dog friendly area, so your pooch can join you for some relaxation after a busy day exploring. 

We ask that dogs are kept on leads when walking around the park. 

Yes, we allow up to three dogs so the whole family can enjoy a fun-filled holiday with us.
