03/10/2025
Autumn in the UK is a lovely time for a family break. Less crowded than summer and not as chilly as winter, it's the perfect time to pull out your favourite cozy fleece, add some marshmallows to the kids' hot chocolate, and head out for fresh air and falling leaves.
And in the playful spirit of Halloween, there is no better autumnal day out than a visit to a pumpkin patch. From photo ops and carving workshops to the chance to harvest your own pumpkin to take home, a trip to the pumpkin patch is an underrated family outing.
By analysing popularity through Google reviews and Instagram follower counts, we’ve ranked the UK’s 10 best pumpkin patches to visit this spooky season. We know our top 10 might not be close to everyone, so be sure to read to the end of the article, there, you’ll find a full list of every pumpkin patch we’ve discovered across the country, making it easy to plan your own pumpkin-picking adventure this Halloween.
